The Melbourne Agricultural Society is very excited to announce that they will be hosting the Melbourne Hog Stompin' Outdoor Concert 2.0 on Friday August 26th 2016! This year our performers will be, Ryan Langdon from Niagra Falls and... Genevieve Fisher from London Ontario. We are very excited to be having these talented artists come out to Melbourne Ontario!

The evening will begin with Line Dancing lessons on the track at 7:00pm, with the performances to follow, and fun competitions throughout the evening! Food and drinks will be available throughout the night.

Tickets will be $15 in advance and $20 at the gate, so get your tickets in advance!! Tickets will be available at the Melbourne Port Hole, Melbourne Farm Equipment, from Agricultural Society members, or at (519)289-5225.

On Friday August 21st, the Melbourne Agricultural Society is excited to bring the first Melbourne Hog Stomp to Melbourne, Ontario! This event will feature SnakeBite and the Eric Ethridge band!

SnakeBite was named London's Best Country Band of 2014. They have shared a stage with many country music stars, and have just released their first CD “My Road”! They have recently been announced to be the Country Music Association of Ontario's Artist of the month for June!

The Eric Ethridge band played at Rockin Wheel and opened for Brett Kissel at the Western Fair in 2014. They will also be playing at Boots and Hearts this summer.

These two amazing bands will be bringing their talent to the Melbourne Fair Grounds on the evening of Friday August 21st for an outdoor concert. Mark your calendars and tell your friends and family to come out for a great night! Everyone is welcome!

Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the gate, get your tickets soon. 
FREE parking will be available in the field across the road from the Fair Grounds and $10 parking per car in the grounds. 
NO outside food or drinks will be permitted on the grounds!!
We will be looking for volunteers for the event and sponsors will be appreciated.

Karaoke ft. Martini Mama's Karaoke/Dj Service - 6-8 pm
Concert begins - 8 pm
Food and beverages will be available on site. The Melbourne Agricultural Society will be serving fresh pulled pork on a bun, the Melbourne Lions Club will be making their fresh cut fries, ice cream and cold drinks will be available. This is also a licensed event for those of age.

The Melbourne Agricultural Society will be hosting their annual Cattle Show on Saturday August 18th, 2018 at the Melbourne Fair Grounds in Melbourne. There will be a $15 Cattle Show registration fee. The Melbourne 4-H Beef Club Achievement Day will begin at 12:00pm. Youth Education class (10 & under) will commence following the Melbourne 4-H Beef Club show, The Inter 4-H Club Heifer and Steer Competition will follow, then the Open Market Cattle Show, and the Open Breeding Cattle Show will finish off the day.

The Field Crop Competition will be held inside the Ag Hall.  There will be a $10 registration fee.  Bring  exhibit in a quart glass jar  - the following sections are available:  white oats, wheat, one 6" slice of hay (1st or 2nd cut 2018 crop), 6 stocks of corn tied together with cobs, and finally 3 stocks of soybeans (2018 crop years for both corn & soybeans)
